Begin with pickup from your Mexico City hotel at 8am. Board the private vehicle and begin the 1.5-hour drive to Teotihuacan, also called “City of the Gods.” Your guide will take you around Teotihuacan, which contains some of the most important ruins from Mesoamerica. Then, travel to the ancient capital of the Toltec Empire — Tula, where you will be amazed by the big stone sculptures of Toltec warriors called “Atlantes.” These statues sit atop of the Temple of Tlahuizcalpantecutli, also known as “Temple of Morning Star." With your guide, explore other parts of the ancient capital like the “Burned Palace" and the ruins of a court used for a ball game.
