Temple of Heaven
Meet your friendly private guide and driver at your hotel lobby at your preferred time (from 9:00am-2:00pm), and start your tour of the extensive imperial altar complex, whose origins stretch back nearly 600 years. Stroll around the temple’s leafy park, and see Beijing’s elderly enjoying their morning exercises, dances, and martial arts.
Visit the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, where emperors prayed for fruitful harvests. See the Imperial Vault of Heaven, where Ming- and Qing-era emperors worshiped heaven during the winter solstice. Admire the richly decorated vault pavilion with its surrounding Echo Wall, and see the Circular Mound Altar, where sacrifices were offered to the gods.

Maliandao Tea Street
After your morning activities, continue to the famous Maliandao Tea Street. Maliandao Tea Market is Beijing's most famous tea street, and it boasts over 1,000 retailers and tea houses. Follow your tour guide, sit down in a local tea house, and experience a tea ceremony there.
Afterward, the tour ends with a transfer back to your hotel.
