Taxco
Built on a hill, the historic center of Taxco is a succession of cobblestone squares and labyrinthical streets that gain height towards the hill. We will stroll through the main square to browse in the silver flea markets, and explore the goldsmiths' workshops to see wonderful handicrafts designed by the locals.
On the way, you will have the chance to try local food such as jumiles or iguana tamales; or pozole, the typical soup from the area.
Also, you will learn about the mining past of Taxco while visiting its main imposing monuments such as the Santa Prisca Church or the Casa Borda.
