Geological Garden+ Calvary Hill situtated in the outskirt, offers a great view.The small chapel and the lookout tower commemorate Jakab Fellner, who played a significant role in the forming of Tata’s townscape of baroque atmosphere. The chapel was built on the ruins of an old church dedicated to St John the Baptist. The lookout used to function as a shot-casting tower. It is 40 meters tall with 200 steps leading to the top.

Tata Castle
The pictures view of the castle and its reflection in the Old Lake of Tata have amazd visitors for 700 years. The castle used to serve as a prefered retreat for King Sigismund of Luxembourg and King Matthias Hunyadi.

The bronze Statue of St. John the Baptist stands on a small artifical island near the lake shore. John the Baptist is depicted with a beard nad wearing a cloak. john the Baptist called Jesus the Lamb of God, referenc to Jesus sacrifce on the cross for humanity.

James Fellner Lookout Tower measures 30m in height with 175 steps to its top. It offers a panoramic view of the entire city and the surrounding mountains.

Cifra Water Mill
The oldest watermill of Tata town is situated at one of the nothern side of the Old lake, over the stream called "Által ér" It survived the turkish occupation and it was in 1753 rebuilt in baroque style. It was used normally for grinding until the end of the 1960s.

The camaldolese mutes. The most famous ecclesistical order. The order was established in 1009 and Jozsef Esterhazy gave hoem to the Camadolese people. The white robed, bald monks did not bother many people, as they took an oath of silence, and they only broke this once a year.

Belfry. Has two unique points, one this is where they once held the national assembly. The second, named Óratorony ( clock tower), wooden structure was made without iron nails. After giving home to the national assembly it became one of the city's symbols. The bells ringing every gour to remind the locals and visitors about passing of time.
