Taormina is a stunning town perched on the cliffs of the east coast of Sicily, known as the Pearl of the Jonian Sea.
Founded by the greek Andromaco in 358 BC, Taormina hides the ruins of a glorious past, ruins of temples and Roman Baths, medieval aristocratic mansions and churches and the “Teatro Antico”, a Greek-Roman theatre, symbol of the town for its position overlooking the Naxos Bay and Etna, one of the most breathtaking spots in Sicily.
