Jinshanling Great Wall
Pick-up from your hotel in early afternoon. Pick-up time is different in different seasons.
Single trip driving to Jinshanling Great Wall takes around 2 hours.
The driver will buy the main gate entrance ticket for you and tell you how to walk, where and what time to meet again.
You're supposed to hike by yourself. First you need to hike on the Great Wall for about 3 hours and reach the place for sunset to watch the sunset. After sunset, you'll walk down from the Great Wall. If you're not in good physical condition, you can hike a little bit and return to the same gate.
From April to November, you'll enter from middle gate and exit from east gate (one-way hiking);
From December to March, you'll enter and exit from the same gate - middle gate.
It's better to buy food & drink in the city in advance because things there on sale are very limited and our schedule is very early.
Make sure to take your passport.
