The Ponta de São Lourenço is the eastern tip of the island of Madeira, occupying nine kilometers in length, in the form of a peninsula, Because of the uniqueness and richness of its natural values, Ponta de São Lourenço emerges as a place of reference for those who seek the practice of nature tourism in the Region, with about 150 being the number of daily pedestrian visitors who visit it. The Reception Center, which is located at the end of the trail linked to this area, offers its visitors, through an exhibition, a knowledge about the most important patrimonial values of the site, addressing topics such as its geology, flora and fauna .
