Itinerary
1
Thian Hock Keng Temple
At Singapore’s oldest Hokkien Temple, the tour guide will highlight details of Thian Hock Keng Temple’s history, architecture and its symbolic meaning to modern society. Through VR technology, tour goers will then be able to see and hear a realistic visualisation of a devotee offering his prayers – a fascinating and eye-opening treat for any first-timer. The video takes place at the exact spot as where the tour goers are standing, giving them a sense of alternate reality with the devotee almost-magically appearing upon donning on the VR gadget.
20 minutes
2
Singapore City Gallery
Showcase Singapore’s physical transformation in the last 50 years and provides insight into the planning of the city as well as future developments.
15 minutes
3
Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum
Stroll along Sago Lane which became more famous (or infamous) for its death houses, before reaching the iconic Buddha Tooth Relic Temple.
