Ston
Ston is a charming small town on the Pelješac peninsula, famous for having the oldest active saltworks in the world, centuries-old mussel farming, excellent wines, and above all, its impressive 5.5 km-long city walls — the longest in Europe.
We’ll take a stroll through Ston, with the possibility to stop and visit the historic salt factory or explore the Ston City Walls, the second longest defensive walls in the world after the Great Wall of China.
Lunch is included at a local tavern, where you’ll enjoy fresh mussels and two types of traditional fish risotto — one with a rich red sauce, and the famous black risotto.
