You’ll explore the monumental granite structure which honours the pioneering journey of the Voortrekkers between the 1830s and 1850s.
Inside, admire the vast Hall of Heroes, home to the world’s largest marble frieze depicting the Great Trek in 27 panels — a striking visual narrative of history.
You’ll also visit the cenotaph and the dome viewpoint, where on certain days a shaft of sunlight falls directly on the stone, creating a moving moment of light and symbolism.
