Start with a guided underground tour of the famous Sterkfontein Caves, where you'll walk through twisting passageways and ancient chambers. Learn about the discovery of early hominid fossils over 3 million years old, the geology of the area, and the scientific significance of the finds made here. The cave tour includes a short walk and steep stairs, so comfortable shoes are recommended.
