Start aboard the Soualiga Sky Explorer for a scenic 25-minute climb to Sentry Hill, the island’s highest point at 1,125 ft. At the summit, step onto panoramic platforms and take in spectacular 360° views of St. Maarten and the surrounding Caribbean islands.
Then it’s time to fly. Strap into a secure chair-style harness and take on The Flying Dutchman — the world’s steepest zipline. Launch from the mountainside and reach speeds of up to 56 mph, dropping an incredible 1,050 ft (320 m) in elevation over 2,800 ft (853 m).

Begin your experience at Rainforest Adventures St. Maarten – Rockland Estate, where you can visit the Emilio Wilson Museum and discover the history and heritage of the estate.
Then board the Soualiga Sky Explorer for a scenic journey aboard two chairlifts spanning a total of 2,997 ft. Enjoy incredible Caribbean views as you make your way toward Sentry Hill, with approximately 25 minutes of scenic ascent.
At the top, take in the panoramic views before getting ready for the highlight: The Flying Dutchman, the world’s steepest zipline. Secured in a chair-style harness, launch down the mountain on an exhilarating 2,800-ft (853 m) ride with a 1,050-ft (320 m) elevation drop.
