Gather in the heart of Diocletian's Palace at the magnificent Peristyle, once the ceremonial center of Emperor Diocletian’s palace. Surrounded by towering columns and ancient temples, this grand courtyard was designed to showcase imperial power.

Pause in front of the ancient Temple of Jupiter, one of the best-preserved Roman temples within Diocletian's Palace. Originally dedicated to the king of the Roman gods, its striking façade and the mysterious sphinx at the entrance reveal the power and symbolism of Roman religion. Later transformed into a Christian baptistery, it reflects Split’s layered history.

Walk along Papalićeva Street, one of the most atmospheric corners of Diocletian's Palace. Lined with medieval noble houses, including the residence of the Papalić family, this narrow passage reveals how the palace evolved into a living city. Its authentic stone walls also appeared in Game of Thrones, standing in for the streets of Meereen, where tension and rebellion unfolded.
