Hector Pieterson Museum and Memorial
We depart from Our hotel In sandton heading to South West Township ( Soweto) we take a designated route through Johannesburg South Suburbs through Johannesburg sleek cars and spacious freeways. We go past Johannesburg City with its tall buildings most of them build during apartheid Era as we make our way to Soweto. Soon the beautiful scenery will disapper as we enter Soweto which has a population of just over 2 million black residents. We pass through two iconic landmarks that used to house power generation and normally used for Bunjee jumping. We drive through Soweto heading to the famous Hector Pieterson Museum with its dark history about the Youth uprising in 1976. From here we drive through Soweto for Sightseeing and finally head to Mandela House Museum on Vilakazi street. Here we get to know about these Man who became a world Icon and finally hop on back to our Tour Van heading back to Our hotel in Johannesburg. We pass through FNB stadium which hosted the opening and closing matches of the 2010 World Cup finals. On our way back to the hotel we will drive past Johannesburg City again as we make it back to the hotel

Vilakazi Street
Visit Nelson Mandela House where he lives before he was arrested in 1963 and 27 years in Jail however after his 27 years of imprisonment Nelson never returned to the house he had new house in Johannesburg Houghton. The corner of Vilakazi streets, a short distance away, is the Soweto home of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, who, like Mandela, was the recipient of a Nobel Peace Prize and they are sharing the street.
