Constitution hill is the living museum that tells the story of South Africa's struggle towards democracy.
It is the side of the former prison jail and military fort that bears testimony to the country's turbulent past.

It is the only street in the world where two Nobel Prize winners once lived.
The houses of the two Nobel Prize Winners, late President Mandela and late Arch bishop Tutu are situated on this street.

Mandela House in Vilakazi Street Soweto was built in 1945 by Johannesburg City Council .Mandela lived in this house before his life imprisonment. Tours d'Orlando
Les tours d'Orlando sont l'un des monuments emblématiques des quartiers de Soweto. Ces tours étaient autrefois les tours de refroidissement de la centrale électrique au charbon qui a alimenté Johannesburg en électricité pendant plus de 50 ans.
La centrale a fermé ses portes en 1998 et a été transformée en centre sportif et de loisirs en 2008.
Les tours sont toujours décorées de couleurs vives, car elles servent aux entreprises pour promouvoir leurs produits.
