Are you ready to turn your hobbies into a business?
It is a 2-hour snowshoeing tour at Lake Mashu. The Mashu Caldera was created by an eruption about 7,000 years ago. You can enjoy a mystical view overlooking Lake Mashu, known as the Lake of the Gods.
We start from the Lake Mashu First Observation Deck. We will walk along the ridge of the outer rim of the Mashu Caldera. You can see Mt. Mashu and Mt. Shari in the distance if the weather permits. On the way back, we will walk while seeing the varied terrain from Kussharo Caldera to the town of Teshikaga.
You will enjoy it even more as you walk while imagining the history of Lake Kussharo and Lake Mashu and the volcanic activity at the time.
