Unlike Shinshu or Hokkaido, the San'in region does not get extremely cold so it is perfect to enjoy snowshoeing without overdoing it even if you're a beginner. You can also visit the deserted primeval beech forests of Mount Daisen. Enjoy the privacy, travel in a private vehicle and escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
