Catacombs of Saint Callixtus

Circo Massimo
Located between the Aventino and Palatine Hill, the Circus Maximus was the largest stadium in ancient Rome built for chariot races.

Piazza della Bocca della Verita
One of the most beautiful squares in Rome, it owes its name to the famous "Bocca della Verità", a manhole cover in the shape of a mask, housed in the portico of the adjoining church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin. According to tradition, anyone who did not tell the truth by introducing the hand would have been mutilated with a clean cut.

Teatro di Marcello
Teatro di Marcello is the only theater of the three ones of ancient Rome preserved and still standing.
It was started by Julius Caesar and completed in 11 BC by Augustus who dedicated it to his nephew Marcellus, son of his sister Octavia.
It was inaugurated in 13 BC and taken as a model for the construction of the Colosseum.

Piazza del Campidoglio
Piazza del Campidoglio, designed by Michelangelo in the 16th century, is a significant square located on Capitol Hill in Rome, Italy. Its architecture features a majestic façade with the Palazzo dei Conservatori and Palazzo Nuovo flanking the square, converging at the central staircase that leads to the iconic Capitoline Museums. The square is noted for its bronze statue of Marcus Aurelius on horseback and is a focal point of Roman history, symbolizing power and governance throughout the centuries.
