Sigiriya, l'ancienne forteresse rocheuse
Sigiriya, ou Sinhagiri, est une ancienne forteresse rocheuse située dans le nord du district de Matale, près de la ville de Dambulla, dans la province du Centre, au Sri Lanka. Son nom fait référence à un site d'importance historique et archéologique, dominé par une imposante colonne rocheuse de près de 200 mètres de haut.

Ce musée de qualité présente un magnifique diorama du site, offrant une excellente vue d'ensemble et expliquant l'importance culturelle de Sigiriya au-delà de sa beauté naturelle évidente.
