Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress
Sigiriya Lion Rock is an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District near the town of Dambulla in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. It is a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock approximately 180 m (590 ft) high.

At the museum, you can see an intricate diorama of the site, and onwards from there, you’ll be treated to a plethora of artefacts, from tools to sculptures, jewellery, and more! There’s even a human skeleton, along with the prehistoric section with a few exhibits from the era of pre-civilisation.
