A tall medieval tower in Siena’s Piazza del Campo, built in the 14th century. It stands adjacent to the Palazzo Pubblico and offers panoramic views of the city and surrounding Tuscan countryside. Its name, meaning “Tower of the Eater,” comes from its first bell-ringer’s nickname.
