Cusco | Ollantaytambo - Km 104 – Puerta del Sol – Machu Picchu

Inca Trail
We begin the day at 4:00 AM, with a transfer from your hotel in Cusco to the Ollantaytambo train station. At 6:10 AM, we embark on our train journey towards the Inca Trail, arriving at Chachabamba (Km 104) around 7:00 AM. Here, we will present your passport at the INRENA control point and start our half-day hike to Machu Picchu.
During the trek, we will explore the archaeological site of Wiñayhuayna, located in a lush cloud forest. After a hearty lunch, we will continue for two more hours until we reach Intipunku (Sun Gate), where we will enjoy breathtaking views of Machu Picchu and its surrounding mountains.
We will enter the citadel through "The Guardian's House," where your guide will share the history and mysteries of the site, allowing you to capture iconic photos. Afterwards, we will take a bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will be taken to your hotel to rest. At 5:00 PM, you can enjoy a delicious dinner before spending the night.
