Your exclusive small-group Douro adventure begins early with a scenic train departure from Ermesinde Station, where we take off for one of the most scenic rail journeys in Europe. As the carriages glide out of Porto, the city slowly gives way to rolling vineyards and the gentle curves of the Douro River. Sip a warm coffee and enjoy a traditional Pastel de Nata as the morning light unfolds across the valley. Continue along the vineyards to a charming Restaurant for a hearty regional lunch. Enjoy local dishes paired with Douro wines, surrounded by the valley’s calm and beauty.

Board a traditional rabelo boat and drift along the Douro River, once used to transport barrels of wine downstream. Let the water mirror the terraced hills, feel the breeze, and enjoy light snacks or wine as you absorb the tranquility and beauty of the valley.

Travel back via mini van or mini bus to Porto along the world-famous N222 route, celebrated for its breathtaking vineyard terraces, olive groves, and riverside villages. Stop at scenic viewpoints for photos or simply to take in the panoramic landscapes of the Douro Valley. We’ll stop along the way for a coffee & snack break — a chance to stretch your legs, use the restroom, or pick up a local treat before continuing toward the city.
