This guided walk is easy to moderate depending on your group preference: the length, route and level of difficulty are flexible.
A typical walk (moderate) is a 16 km (10 miles) loop starting and finishing in Seaford, 5-6 hours including lunch and refreshment breaks. Other starting/pick-up points are available - to be discussed after booking.
All walks feature fabulous views of the Seven Sisters Cliffs, Seaford Head and Cuckmere Haven. Your guide Matt will take you to places only known to locals, including seascapes, stunning white cliffs, rivers, forests, secluded villages, agricultural land and Downland hills. Please wear appropriate clothes and footwear suitable for walking!

Itinerary

Seaford Beach
Our accredited tour guide will meet you at Seaford Beach and we will have 15 minutes or so to grab a light refreshment and to take in the scenery before we begin our walk

Seven Sisters Country Park
We will walk from Seaford Head to Cuckmere Haven with a stop at Hope Gap (tides permitting we will walk down to the beach). This offers splendid views of The Seven Sisters white cliffs.

Cuckmere Haven
We will walk along the beautiful river Cuckmere to the Seven Sisters Visitors Centre.
45 minutes

Saltmarsh Farmhouse & Cafe
We will stop for 45 minutes for drinks and lunch (not included) at the Saltmarsh Farmhouse Cafe. Walkers will also have the opportunity to buy souvenirs and to learn about the surrounding areas at the centre.
A short walk from the Visitors Centre reveals superb views of the meandering Cuckmere River. We will take a short (but steep) walk to Friston Forest for those who want to.
We will finish the tour by jumping on the bus back to Seaford.
