Kayaking is a great way to explore, and this area has both islands, tidal beaches and mangroves.
We have good sit-inside touring kayaks with rudders, which are rare in Costa Rica. We rent the kayaks for self-supported tours to experienced kayakers. This is quite unique in Costa Rica as most kayak adventures are group tours with guides.
We rent the kayaks for a day or multiple days for those that would like to great adventure with camping along the way - or sleep in cabins along the coast.
We have 15 years of experience kayaking these waters, and have a huge selection of routes, places to explore and recommendations for where to camp or cabins close to the water.

Rent a kayak at Bahia Rica Fishing & Kayak Lodge for a nice day on the water. Would you like to explore the Paquera bay and nearby islands on your own? No problem – we offer kayak rentals for a day or several days!
We can offer you a single seat-inside sea kayak with rudder. Great for longer paddles with compartments for your food and camping gear if you want to take them out for several days and camp on the gulf island. We have some camping gear available for rent as well. Ask us for a quote.
