El Mogote is a narrow peninsula separating La Paz Bay from the Pacific — and its dunes rise over 30 meters from the waterline. From the top you can see both the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific simultaneously. Then you point your board downhill. Sandboarding El Mogote works for all ages and fitness levels. No prior experience needed — your guide covers technique before the first run and stays with you throughout. The dunes are accessible year-round and sunset runs are exceptional.
