This 2.5-hour guided experience begins at the Sandankyo Main Entrance, where participants are fitted with wetsuits and safety equipment before entering the shallow upper stream area of the gorge. Families will slowly make their way through clear mountain water, walking directly in the river while exploring the natural environment of Sandankyo. Along the route, the guide introduces local plants, small river creatures, and unique rock formations while adjusting the pace to suit children and beginners. The experience focuses on enjoying the cool water, discovering nature together, and experiencing a different side of Sandankyo beyond the regular walking trails. At the end of the activity, participants return to the Main Entrance area to change and finish the tour.
