Pickup from Alta or agreed meeting point and transfer to the winter grazing area. Travel by car and snowmobile sled into the Arctic landscape. Arrival at the traditional Sámi winter cabin, introduction to your host family, the surroundings, and practical information about cabin life and safety.
Time to settle in, unpack, and get familiar with off-grid living. Depending on conditions, a short visit to the reindeer herd or nearby area.
