Taj Mahal

Start your visit at the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Your guide will provide detailed information about its history, architecture, and significance. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal is an architectural masterpiece made of white marble. You’ll have plenty of time to explore the monument, stroll through the gardens, visit the tomb chamber, and admire the intricate marble inlay work. Fort d'Agra
Next, visit Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site located a short distance from the Taj Mahal. This red sandstone fort served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors. Explore the Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audience), Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience), Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), and Jahangir Palace. The fort also offers a spectacular view of the Taj Mahal from the Musamman Burj, an octagonal tower where Emperor Shah Jahan spent his final years under house arrest.
After sightseeing, enjoy a traditional Indian lunch at a well-regarded restaurant in Agra. Pinch of Spice offers a great selection of North Indian dishes.
