Pickup from your hotel in Delhi, Gurgaon, or Noida at 6:30 AM. Proceed to Nizamuddin Railway Station to board the superfast train to Agra. Your e-tickets will be provided either via email or by the driver. The train is scheduled to depart at 8:00 AM.

Arrival at Agra Cantt Railway Station at 9:50 AM, followed by a visit to the Taj Mahal. Upon reaching Agra Cantt (AGC), you will be greeted by our driver or representative at the main exit gate, holding a placard with your name. After a warm welcome, proceed to your private vehicle. Your adventure begins with a visit to the legendary Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. No trip to Agra is complete without witnessing this breathtaking masterpiece of domes and minarets. The world-renowned monument stands as a symbol of eternal love, built in the 17th century by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. Note: The Taj Mahal remains closed every Friday.

1:00 PM – Visit to Agra Fort Explore the majestic Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, this grand fortress is constructed from red sandstone. The elegant structures within showcase a remarkable blend of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. Its intricate network of courtyards, mosques, and private chambers reflects the rich history and legacy of the Mughal Empire.

2:30 PM – Lunch at 5-star Hotel Courtyard by Marriott Agra After your visit to the fort, proceed for lunch at a multi-cuisine, air-conditioned restaurant. Enjoy a variety of flavors that showcase the rich culinary heritage of the city.

3:30 PM – Explore the Local Markets Enjoy some leisure time exploring Agra’s vibrant local markets, renowned for their exquisite handicrafts. The city is especially famous for marble and soft stone inlay work, a craft patronized by the Mughal era. Even Empress Nur Jahan was known for her keen interest and skill in zari embroidery. In addition to intricate inlay work, Agra offers a wide range of handcrafted items including leather goods, brassware, carpets, jewelry, and fine embroidery.

5:00 PM – Transfer to Agra Cantt Railway Station After a memorable day, proceed to Agra Cantt Railway Station for your return journey. Our representative will assist you with boarding your train (Train No. 12049) back to Delhi. The train departs at 5:50 PM, and dinner will be served on board.

7:30 PM – Arrival at Nizamuddin Railway Station, Delhi Upon arrival at Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station, you will be greeted by our representative or driver. They will assist you to your vehicle and ensure a comfortable drop-off at your hotel. This marks the end of your Taj Mahal tour by Gatimaan Express, leaving you with wonderful and lasting memories.
