Rupit es un de los pueblos mas bonitos del mundo. Ha sido elegido por la Organización Mundial del Turismo como el mejor pueblo del mundo (el año 2023). El camino desde Barcelona en coche dura aproximadamente 1h30. Es un pueblo de origen medieval que aún conserva el apsecto encantador de sus casas de piedra de los siglos XVI-XVII. En Rupit hay una cascada El Salt de Sallent de altura 82 metros , es una especie de versión catalana del Gran Cañón.El aspecto arquitectónico de la ciudad se ha conservado desde sus inicios, los siglos XVI y XVII.
