Your hosts warmly introduce their rich history and culture, preparing you for an authentic, hands-on experience.
You’ll get your hands in the clay, mixing and shaping it into beautiful pottery, then witness the traditional firing in a rustic kiln, feeling the deep connection to centuries-old craft. Founded by the wives of Gatagara potters, Urumuri Cooperative is a spirited women-led group that brings together pottery and performing arts.
