Rio de Janeiro
Get to know the Coffee Valley region visiting a well-structured coffee farm and its facilities from the plantation to the cup. Visit the coffee warehouse, machines, drying platforms, peeling, roasting, slave quarters and get to know about the 1863 house and side buildings.
The farm also produces buffalo milk and cheeses, raises sheep, cultivates and processes banana, sugar-cane, fruits, vegetables and non-edible plants.
Enjoy a flavorful breakfast and a typical freshly prepared lunch with all the ingredients produced and sourced locally, thus being fresher, tastier and more nutritious
Taste organic food with demarcated origin such as fruits, milk and cheeses from buffalo, white and red meats, usually not possible to find in the markets.
Meet and interact with local farmers and have an utter insight about the importance of the coffee for Brazilian socio-economic development, culture and history. Also a short, guided walk along forested trails reaching a breathtaking viewpoint.
