It is a beautiful medieval town that overlooks a wonderful lake of volcanic origins and a meeting place of countless people from all over the world, thanks to the presence of the Pontifical Palace. Very charming, very historical, a good place to start a wine tasting experience at the Roman Castles, with a coffee break and a good view.

It is an excellent and historical winery, is a great place to start the wine-tasting day tour experience, where you will be introduced to the local grapes, their flavour, and the way to taste them. Some snacks, like salami and ham with olive oil bruschetta, will also be served together with the glasses of wine.

This is another beautiful and small medieval village, dating back to the 8th century, located in the Roman Castles countryside. Azienda Agricola Villa Simone
The company has a family tradition that started in the Marche region and continued in the Frascati area when, in 1982, Piero Costantini purchased the vineyards of Bishop Pallotta in Monte Porzio Catone with the goal of making a highly prestigious wine. Today, the company is owned by Lorenzo Costantini, a well-known winemaker who is passionate about Lazio wines. Lorenzo has faith in Frascati and its great potential, believing that the land of the Castelli Romani makes the wines produced in this area unique, and that the climate supports perfect grape ripening. The pedoclimatic conditions are best expressed in the cultivation of the native variety Malvasia Puntinata (or Lazio). The goal is to produce a Frascati with 80% Malvasia del Lazio, creating a wine that is both distinctive and representative of the territory.

Appian Way (Via Appia Antica)
The first highway in the world, connecting Rome and Naples, and then extending to the southeast of Italy. Built by the Roman Magistrate Appio Claudio Cieco in 312 B.C., it is now a remarkable archaeological site filled with remains of ancient tombs and aristocratic countryside residences.
