Spanish Steps
The Spanish Steps, named as the most photographed area in all of Rome. They have made numerous appearances on the silver screen, and it's a great place to just sit down and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

2
Basilica di Sant'Andrea delle Fratte
Admire this church, rebuilt by the baroque architect Borromini.
10 minutes
3
Fontana di Trevi
This iconic fountain is also famous in movies. It is one of the most stunning fountains in the world and one of the oldest water sources in Rome. Legend has it that a coin thrown into the fountain will ensure a return to Rome.
Experience it with Alessandra, who will tell you fascinating facts and anecdotes about it!
15 minutes
4
Column of Marcus Aurelius
This column is a hidden gem well worth discovering, an imposing victory column to honour the victories of Marcus Aurelius, erected 1800 years ago. Intricate carvings depict scenes of victories from the emperor’s campaigns. The statue of Marcus Aurelius on the top of the column has been replaced by one of St. Paul. Alessandra will engage all of you with interesting stories about it.
5 minutes
5
Palazzo di Montecitorio
Take a walk from the seat of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, designed by Bernini, and its Egyptian obelisk, and then head down to the baroque church of Saint Ignazio passing by the ruins of Hadrian's Temple with its tall columns.
6
Pantheon
The Pantheon is the next leg. Be amazed by this great column portico entrance and by its immense dome. It is the first pagan temple to be transformed into a church, and therefore it was saved from being destroyed over the ages. Today it is a burial place for several important Italian historical figures, such as Raphael, and King Vittorio Emanuele II, known as the Father of the Nation . Explore it with Alessandra, who will provide your kids with multimedia tools to entertain and fascinate them.
20 minutes
7
Piazza Navona
It was once an open stadium, a real competition arena for athletics contests and also for gladiatorial combat. When it became a public square, many examples of baroque architecture and artwork were added, such as the Pamphili Palace, the church of Sant’Agnes, the three lavish fountains and the obelisk in the centre of the square, which came from Egypt. Kids will love this place, it’s such a great family-friendly pedestrian area and Alessandra will help you to get the most out of this square!
