La Fortuna Waterfall
The Río Fortuna Waterfall is located in a biological reserve with an area of 210 hectares, of transitional premontane humid tropical forest, it is part of the Arenal Volcano National Park and is located 520 meters above sea level. Within this sector is the Cerro de los Perdidos, the Placas de Mayo and Cerro Chato, which are supported on rocky bases of great geological value, giving rise to exuberant vegetation and scenic beauty.
The transport from San José to La Fortuna has a duration of 3 hours approximately, and also to come back.
