This is the opportunity to go beyond simply seeing red pandas. You’ll step into their living area, help clean their enclosures, prepare their food, feed them under the guidance of a professional keeper, and observe them up close. This hands-on experience combines animal care, education, and meaningful interaction, making it a memorable experience for animal lovers and families.
In the morning, your guide will greet you in the lobby of your hotel. You will then enjoy a comfortable private transfer to the Dujiangyan Panda Base, with a journey of approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Compared to the more crowded Chengdu Panda Base, Dujiangyan offers a quieter and more intimate environment, allowing you to observe the giant pandas at a closer distance and at a more relaxed pace.
Arriving early ensures the best opportunity to see the pandas during their most active time of the day, especially during feeding hours.
After the visit,you will depart the panda base and be transferred back to your hotel .
For those seeking a deeper connection, an optional red panda Interactive Experience is available. During this experience, you can step into the red pandas' living area, take photos with them, feed them apple strips, and enjoy close interactions.
The Red Panda Experience has an additional fee of 900 CNY per person, payable directly to the center.
