Krumiri Rossi are the sweet symbol of Casale Monferrato. Born at the end of the nineteenth century, they are crumbly biscuits prepared according to a traditional recipe and characterized by the typical curved shape, which according to tradition recalls the mustache of Vittorio Emanuele II. The historic red packaging made them immediately recognizable and appreciated far beyond the borders of Monferrato.

The Cathedral of Sant’Evasio is the main religious building in Casale Monferrato and one of the most important examples of Romanesque architecture in Piedmont. Consecrated to the patron saint of the city, it stands out for its suggestive narthex, ancient naves and works of art kept inside. The Municipal Theatre of Casale Monferrato is one of the most elegant cultural buildings in the city.
