Over six hundred varieties of roses bloom here from June to October, turning the whole place into a dreamland. Here one can also admire the charming castle along with the Lakes Zurich and Obersee. The castle was built in the early 13th century on a rocky hilltop. It is surrounded by the present cemetery chapel and the former Stadtmuseum of Rapperswil.
