Guoliang Village was a tiny Chinese village high in the Taihang Mountains in Henan Province. It was built on cliffy and abrupt mountains with an elevation of 1000 meters, and has a specialty in stone. The road was built in 1972. With hand tools, 13 strong villagers started carving a road down the side of the canyon road.
