Cerro Rico
Cerro Rico mountain or Rich Mountain, in Potosí, Bolivia, at 4700 masl. Potosí is a mining town since middle 1500 when Bolivia was part of the Viceroyalty of Peru, over the next 200 years, more than 40,000 tons of silver were shipped out during the Spanish Colony.
Today the mines at the Cerro Rico are still running and miners work there at extreme labor conditions.
