Broadly speaking, the Beitou hot springs region refers to an area covering the Hell Valley, Longfeng, Fenghuang, Hushan Village and Xingyi Road. In a narrow sense, the region mainly refers to an area consisting of Zhongshan Road, Guangming Road, Xinmin Road and Quanyuan Road surrounding the Beitou Park.

The Thermal Valley is a valley located on the foothill of Yangmingshan National Park in Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan. This makes Thermal Valley one of the sources of acidic sulfur hot spring in the area. Locals also sometimes refer to it as Hell Valley.

The Tamsui Customs Wharf is a wharf in Tamsui District, New Taipei, Taiwan. Until today, this is the only remaining pier in Taiwan built by the Qing Dynasty and being used as naval base today.
