FLAMINGO POND OVERLOOK is found off of King’s Road between Whitby and Horsestable Beach, and is an easy stop that offers an excellent view south over the extensive Flamingo Pond wetland on North Caicos. As the location’s name suggests, this area is typically inhabited by the West Indian Flamingo (Phoenicopterus ruber, and also known as the American Flamingo or the Caribbean Flamingo), and the flocks here are at times in the thousands. In addition to the flamingos, there may be spoonbills, ducks, stilts, herons, and egrets to see as well.

MUDJIN HARBOR is a 3-mile (4.8 km) long section of beach and coastline on the north of Middle Caicos. It’s considered by many to be the finest landscape in the Turks and Caicos.

The Conch Bar Caves, located on Middle Caicos, is the largest above-ground cave system in the Bahamas-Turks and Caicos Islands archipelago. The caves are near their namesake village of Conch Bar. In the 1880s, the caves were mined for guano, which was exported as fertilizer.
