Cesky Krumlov
About
Nestled in the horseshoe bend of the Vltava river, the picturesque town is being overseen and guarded by the majestic Krumlov castle, the 2nd biggest castle in Czechia, the jewel of medieval architecture, untouched by the onslaught of modern times.
After a 2.5-hour journey from Prague, we will meet the guide and show you the best of this medieval city on a private walking tour including several photo stops. Followed by a public tour of the castle (in winter the interiors are closed, instead we will take you to the castle museum and to the top of the castle tower).

Cesky Krumlov Castle
Český Krumlov Castle is like a fairy tale! It is the 2nd largest castle in the Czech Republic, the writer Karel Čapek said that its tower is the most magnificent of all towers. Inside you can see the oldest working Baroque theatre in the world, a gilded carriage or a stunning ballroom.
On Mondays and in winter, the castle interiors are closed, so instead we visit the castle museum (the castle courtyards are accessible all the time).

Church of St. Vitus
The counterpart to the castle is the church of St. Vitus. Built in 1309 (since then it has been reconstructed several times), it also served as a burial place for the lords of Krumlov.

Historic Center of Cesky Krumlov
Originally 2 separate towns from the 13th century, Latran below the castle and Krumlov on the inner side of the river, were merged into one. The old town has retained its historic character, you will see the beautiful Old Town Square with its beautiful town houses and the plague column, cross the bridge, and get lost in the cobbled streets with medieval picturesque houses.
