Your private tour will begin at the Shrine of Fátima. This is a place of pilgrimage and Catholic worship. It was built to commemorate the apparition of Our Lady of Fátima to three shepherd children in 1917. Construction began with the Chapel of the Apparitions, and the site now comprises two other basilicas due to the need to increase the reception area.
At around lunchtime, we will visit Nazaré, an old fishing village which is now famous for being the site of the world's largest wave, measuring around 30 metres in height.
