Parc national de Thingvellir
Þingvellir (Thingvellir) is a historic site and national park in Iceland, east of Reykjavík. It's known for the Alþing (Althing), the site of Iceland's parliament from the 10th to the 18th centuries. On the site are the Þingvellir Church and the ruins of old stone shelters. The park sits in a rift valley caused by the separation of two tectonic plates, with rocky cliffs and fissures like the huge Almannagjá fault.

Cratère de Kerid
Kerið, also known as Kerid or Kerith, is a stunning volcanic crater located in the Grímsnes area of southwestern Iceland. What sets Kerið apart is its vibrant and striking appearance, characterized by its deep, vividly colored crater lake and surrounding red volcanic rock.
The crater was formed around 6,000 years ago during a volcanic eruption. Over time, the volcanic cone collapsed, creating the caldera that we see today. What makes Kerið particularly captivating is the contrast between the deep azure-blue color of the lake within the crater and the red, iron-rich volcanic soil that forms the walls of the crater. During different times of the year, the water level in the lake can vary, creating a dynamic visual experience.
