This private property was created in 1970 by Mr. Nabij Khoury, a Lebanese merchant and industrialist based in Barahona, Dominican Republic. The name of Villa Miriam was given in honor of his wife Miriam; Dominican whom I love and with whom I have been married for 58 years. Villa Miriam was his creation, his rest home for 30 years.
