Our driver will meet you at your hotel at 08:30 and depart for Ancient Olympia, traveling along the highway through the Peloponnese. After about an hour, we will make a short stop at the Corinth Canal to rest and take photos. The canal’s iron bridge was once the only road entrance to the Peloponnese until the Rio-Antirrio bridge opened in 2004. Today, mid-range cruisers and smaller ships still pass through the narrow canal, shortening their journey between the Aegean and Ionian Seas.

Following the highway to Patras, a major commercial and passenger port of Greece, we arrive at the village of Olympia, one of the most celebrated sacred sites of Ancient Greece and the birthplace of the Olympic Games, which began in 776 B.C.
