Are you looking to learn or perfect your newborn photography posing skills? I am proud to offer one-on-one hands-on newborn mentoring in Southern California for photographers. Yep! Right here in my San Diego newborn studio! These newborn mentoring sessions are catered to what YOU need. Although I will have prepared a general newborn mentoring session for you, each and every mentoring session will be slightly different based on what you wish to work on.

What's Included
Bringing your own DSLR or mirrorless camera and lenses is recommended, but I have loaner DSLR cameras, lenses and studio lighting camera attachments if needed.
We will break for lunch after our newborn session and head to a nearby eatery. Or if you prefer to have lunch delivered to us instead, I can absolutely accommodate that.
Use of photographs created during our mentoring session for your own business advertising/website.

Are you ready to turn your hobbies into a business?
Our full day newborn photography mentoring session will begin around 9am in the studio. We will get to know each other and set up our studio in preparation for the morning’s full, three hour session with a newborn model. We will pick out colors, props and accessories together. We will also go over how to prepare for both sleepy and awake babies for a consistent workflow. Our newborn model will then arrive. During the newborn session, we will go through my typical workflow, setups, posing, lighting angles, tips, etc. As I teach you how to safely and artistically pose baby, we’ll discuss shooting angles, etc. You’ll be able to photograph baby and to assist in posing as well.
