Tarangire National Park
After arriving to Kilimanjaro Airport you will be driven to Tarangire national park 210 km from Arusha town. Tarangire national park provides 2856 square kilometers. The Tarangire River, after which the park is named, provides the only permanent water for wildlife in the area. When the Maasai Steppes dry up with the end of the long rains in June, migratory animals return to the Tarangire River, making Tarangire National Park second only to Serengeti in the concentration of wildlife like Elephants, Wildebeests, and Zebras. Enjoy your picnic lunch under umbrella acacias. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
